It would be a shame to waste your holiday in a place you don't feel comfortable. I took my 16yr daughter 10 days after the 2nd bombing and stayed in Kuta for 16 nights, we return early Feb for another 20 nights. We never felt afraid or unsafe, went to night clubs, markets, shopping centres etc and had a great time, hence the return trip. I hope you decide to go as you will have a great time as the Balinese are beautiful people but only you can decide your comfort level and make the choice. Maybe search the archives on others opinions and how many did/didn't return to get a wider view. Good luch whatever you decide.
