came back 24/09. Ask to see your room BEFORE you upgrade - you just might prefer it! Get a ground floor room. We had room 2105? (Alam room). It was tiny for 3 beds, but well organized with LOADS of bench and cupboard space. We had a terrace with a day bed, that was 5 steps away from the pool - great for late night drinks when you want some space. Although the pool is only small, it is much nicer than the bigger rectangle one with a wall around it. Because mostly Japanese stay there, the place is quite and there were no sun lounge hogs.
Personally I didn't like the small walled areas of the villas. And there were alot of rooms that had very austere foyer/terrace areas.
