your point is well taken , and your facts are true ,
but i am still not so sure that is really why they are really doing it,
i think that might be the bandwagon they can ride as a means to express their own personalinternal disturbances. As you say the Islam state extends beyond borders , but were the puppet masters in this case hurt and emotionally disturbed directly by what you talk about , or is it a valid and conveniently legitimate vehicle to climb aboard to express some personal and internal rage that they were carrying even before they adopted the cause . i think it might have been the latter. they are from malaysia , indonesia , not from the middle east . they have chosen to be enraged , it was not thrust upon them. I think the real reasons are below the obvious. and it might provide some greater understanding of the bigger picture to also grasp that point along with your more obvious one. If we wish to ever prevent these things from happening it can only help to understand them and the real motivators as deeply as we can.

this is not discounting what you say , it is also very true and karma has an unpredictable and often mysterious way of balancing things out. Perhaps a deeper understanding of the above can influence the future .
