AP extra luggage allowance

well with the determination to go to bali in 2 weeks and enjoy my mother and I decided to gather some things for the orphanges and get some clothes etc organised. Friends and family hearing we were doing this have now inundated us with heaps of stationary and clothes. Can anyone tell me how when I should contact AP to ask for extra allowance? and also how much do they give? am leaving 22nd Oct. thanks :)
