before i left home. Mind you I was in a panic- but survived the trip.
However I do always have a few things permanently packed in the suitcases for all holidays which makes it easier for me- such as first aid kit, coffee cups, hairdryer, disposable plates and a few pieces of cutlery , power adapters as well as a basic toiletries kit. All of these I store in snaplock plastic bags. Then all I have to pack is a few pieces of clothing. I repack all the basics after I have unpacked from a holiday and place inside a suitcase before I stack them away. When ever we plan on visiting Bali, we add unwanted clothing & toys to the suitcases as we clear out the cupboards so we can give it to the locals. I actually have one or two suitcases put aside for Bali and put everything including gifts in them.Whenever I have a few spare dollars(at least $5 notes) I also throw it inside the suitcases and have extra money when I get there.
I also would like to ask BTForumites to please have at least a drink at Bruno's Beach bar which is situated one down the beach towards Kuta from Sammie and Suzies Bar. He is struggling as are many others and I do think that when we are in Bali, we should support as many of the locals as we can. Bruno and his family are also such lovely people.
