I realise many of us are stressed over the current situation but I can't move on from the fact that some people here have the strangest views about what others should do. Firstly, there is the issue of "you shouldnt go because I wouldnt", get over yourselves. Remember, there is a thing called choice. No matter to me personally if people go or not. I don't care! Seriously. I dont mean I dont care for people's safety, but I dont care what you, personally, choose to do. Secondly, I laughed out really loud a couple of times this morning when a number of posts said stuff like "why would you go to Kuta because it will be all quiet and nothing happening. My preference is to head away from the crowds and experience the real Bali.........and have a cold Bintang". Is that a p.iss take or do you genuinely believe that comments like that are intelligent?
Lastly, then I'll get off my soapbox, many people DO ACTUALLY GO TO BALI because (a) its cheap (b) its close (c) you can buy really good stuff for a pittance and (d) dont actually like the people that much because many of them are out to rip us off and they do!
This stuff about "I love Bali and the people and care for them and they are beautiful" etc, is all fine and good. But not everyone really thinks like that. However, it is a nice, good, Christian attitude to say this so okay, Im going to hell, coz I dont actually think or believe that. There ya go....
On that note, abuse me all you like, its of no consequence to me, I dont know any of you, will probably never meet any of you and call it PMT but it was my turn to write something ABUSIVE instead of the normal nonsense I write....
