I am booked to head to Bali on 1st Dec staying at the Contiki resort in Seminyak. This is my first time to bali and I'm going alone. I have been reading so much about everything and it's all just confusing me more! Argh! What to do??!
I hear on the news and stuff that Seminyak is supposed to be the next target. I see people are changing there accomodation and staying at places that they feel are safer.
I am going alone, which is why I chose Contiki, but if it means staying in the supposedly "most dangerous" part of town, would I be safer staying somewhere else...
I have no idea what the atmosphere is usually like in Bali, so when some people are saying that it is still good, fun, fine... Does that mean that there are still lots of people out. Or are the steets deserted?
If I decide to go, it will be a decision based on the thoughts that I am going to go there not worrying about anything. Even if I'm not worrying, am I still going to have a good time? I was really looking forward to experiencing the nightlife... Do people think that it is basically way too risky to go out at night?
If it is too risky, u'll just all have to come party at the club at our hotel ok!
I would be really thankful for anyone who wants to give me some help and even more thankful if someone would just make up my mind for me and tell me what to do! It really would be alot easier that way!
