How truely sad it is that a 2nd bombing has happened in Bali.
This can & will happen anywhere in the world. How sad it is that you now feel you should close down your business & leave Bali that has been so good to you after all these years. Think of why these areas have been hit for a 2nd. time. We the people that go to Kuta & make it so busy have made Kuta a target. Take the westerners out of Kuta & such areas, will only bring Terrorism to our own countries. It is not Bali that is unsafe, it is the concentration of westerners in particular areas that is unsafe. Every time we have been to Bali we avoid the targeted areas. The only time we have had any concern is the half day or so we spend in Kuta. If tourist spread themselves & thier money, more widely around this magnificent island the present main tourist areas would not be such a great target. There are areas like Candi Dassa, Sanur, Lovina & Singeraga all on the sea side. Some with good surf, some have great fishing & one you have the sunrise & sunset from the one place. My answer to Terrorism is not to shut up shop & run or not to go on your holiday but spread yourselves around. Bali is only the target because of us. Surely we can fight these acts with different tactics. Lets use our heads & spread the wealth over the whole Island. We will be safer & more Balinese will benefit from our visit as will we becase there is so much more to see than Kuta or Jimbaran.
