So, I was in London when the bombs ripped the heart of a magical place. I am due to fly to Bali in 3 weeks for a girls week - first catch up for a few years for some of us who have been travelling for the last few years.

We are anxious. Travelling in the last few years has brought loads of "dodging attacks" advice from families. How do we now justify going to Bali? I am an avid believer of not letting THESE people ruin our lives - not scare us into not travelling anymore.

What to do? Money is money and safety is simply that. Is it selfish to go there when EVERYONE is worried for our saftey. A week in the sun resting when our families are worried for the whole week.

As much as I love Bali - at what level do you simply say enough is enough. ??? We are living now in a society that has heightened alerts - we can be bombed in Sydney or we can go back to a place which is being bombed???

Any thoughts?
