No I do not have contacts in Indonesia. Yes I have just recently returned from there ( 3 weeks ago ).
Yes, i had a keen interest in security in bali, the shops, the hotels, the airport and the lack of a presence during all hours of security forces.
yes, I do have knowledge on the amount of time and effort being put into security both here and in Bali.
Yes, I am concerned about both but I will not go to Bali again because of what I now know about what is going on up there.
Yes, I will always encourage Australians not to place themselves in danger and if part of that encouragement is that Indonesia is not safe then that is what I will do.
