this morning there is a report of information passed from the AFP to Indonesian Officials. It is claimed the AFP provided enough identifying data to Indonesia to make absolutely sure the Bali9 were definitely known.
If this is the proven case, then the AFP is telling us several things. Firstly, they are incapable of handling such a matter on their own territory. Secondly, they only aim at the 'easy' targets, not the "big" ones. One may be excused for wondering if someone paid the correct 'fee' to be 'left off' the list as it were. Finally, to "dob in your mate" is definitely Un Australian, and those supposedly responsible should hang their heads in shame and not present themselves at the counter next pay day.
I believe that 'if you do the crime, you do the time' but on the surface it appears that this matter could have been handled far differently. It should be a matter of priority for Little John to look deep in to this, maybe it is time that some in the AFP retired 'due to health reasons'.
