...in the newspaper here a couple of weeks ago stated that one of the parents of the kids dobbed them in. Asked for the AFP to chat to the boy and give him a warning about going ahead with the plan, parents thought the kid would pull out after the warning and that would be that. Seems that the AFP (ALLEGEDLY) didnt do what they promised, sent info to Bali officials and the rest, as they say, is history. Dunno how true that is...but sounds feasible.
