teddy's vs soft toys for orphans ??

Hi Everyone

This seems like a stupid question I know..but if you don't ask, you don't know...

I have started buying teddy bears from garage sales and op shops to take to the children of an orphanage on my next visit, and am just wondering if anyone else who has done this found that any soft toy is equally well received, or just teddy bears ?

My thoughts are that anything nice and soft to cuddle would be great for the kids, but someone has raised this question with me and now I am starting to wonder myself.

All thoughts greatly appreciated.
