Yes, I read in a previous post that even teenage boys were eagerly awaiting their teddy - it was that comment that inspired me to do this. Our kids are just so lucky - by Australian standards I do not have a lot of money, and my kids have gone without a lot, but compared to the children in Bali, mine are so lucky.
Even on my tight budget, I figure $2 per week on a teddy, and $2 per week towards the sponsorship of a Balinese child, is still very do-able, and so worthwhile - definitely worth giving up a cappacino on the weekend for !!
