Hi - We're going to Bali for the first time at end of October. Some friends will be staying at the Resor Seminyak and want us to stay there too, but I've heard it's bit 'basic' - and given that we'll be leaving our kids at home we want something a little more special! Therefore I'm considering the Sofitel instead (I know it's a little bit more expensive). Can anyone help me - is the Sofitel a nice place to stay? Is it far from Resor Seminyak? ... or to confuse me further are there any other suggestions for a nice (similarly priced) hotel on the beach, near Resor, in Seminyak??!! Thanks!
