I stayed here for nearly a week in July and will be returning in November for 11 days. As are usualy destination in Bali is the Nusa Dua Bea in N.D. and this was a girly holiday we stayed at the Sofitel. And we really enjoyed it heaps. I believe from former posts that it has only just being finished renovated in the last 4 months or so. 2 nice pools. Not big though and get down early to get a lounge chair. But that did not seem to difficult. Fabulous breakfasts, you can order from a choice of about 5 hot breakfasts and they cook them individually. No food sitting in warmers. The usual beautiful fruits, pastries, asian food fresh juices and cereals were on display. Lovelly setting over the beach. Little walk up the road and nice little place for satays. Gado Gado next door. Nice people everywhere. Lots of villas although the girls and I stayed in the main building. Excellent contemporary decor rooms. Plenty of cupboard space and big bathroom. Complete with robes, slippers. All in all I found it excelelent. Although there is no gym and no kids club. What amazed me is that when you walk on the beach early lf a morning as you do, the beach is in the shade as the sun has not reached that part of the islane yet. Amazing. Take a bottle of bubbles, we sat at the beachfront watching the sun disappear at sunset. And no one else was around. Thoroughly recommend a stay. And 2 things, go to Chill for the Reflexology in Seminyak. Amazing, and have a dinner at the Niksoma Hotel. Fabulous food. Enjoy
