Measles is a live vaccine which is why sometimes people have a mild rash and fever for a few days, not all do, many have no side effects at all.
The whooping cough vaccine is not live has previously been very contraversial as side effects were pretty desperate, all sorted now with the new vaccines but in the mean time as people did not immunise the disease is pretty rampant.
Whooping cough can kill but is not considered as serious in childeren over 7 or 8 years of age.Is still pretty horrid though.
So to answer your question, 'no' a whooping cough vaccine does not produce mild form of whooping cough disease.
