Just wondering if anyone has encountered the same problems as I usually do when I contact Best Flights in Perth for a quote. Whenever I ring them to enquire on an advertised Bali special in their newsletter, they always tell me the special I am enquiring about is sold out and give me some exorbitant price instead. An example of this was last Friday when I received their newsletter advertising 3 nights at Campung Mas, flying Air Paradise, for $449 plus taxes for departure between July to 5 October. When I enquired I was told that all seats were sold out so I asked if I could be waitlisted and was told no, that was not possible. They offered to give me another quote and came back with $1,100 for 3 nights at Campung Mas for the same time - I don't think so! This is not the first time Best Flights have done this, it happens just about everytime I have contacted them.
I rang my travel agent this morning, Travelscene in Armadale (9399 8200) who I have booked with on several occasions, and they came back with a price of $610 for 4 nights at Campung Mas, flying Air Paradise, departing 1 October. This price includes airfare, accommodation, departure tax and breakfasts. I have always found Travelscene to be extremely competitive and helpful (no, this is not an advert for Travelscene).
Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem with Best Flights or is it just me???
