Just got invoice from t/agent re fuel charge. An extra $62 per person, can you believe that????. Husband has the FFlyer ticket and myself and 2 kids booked same return flights and land only content for husband.
13 and 1/2 nights, 1st 3 nights at Hard Rock Hotel and other nights at Melasti beach resort including travel insurance was $4720 (with fuel charge increase) The holiday was getting more expensive by the minute.
T/agent offered to give me a quote for me and the kids to fly Air Paradise, leaving same day as husband and returning same night as husband but obviously times slightly different and the price came in as $3780!!!!!!
$1000 difference. Only drawback is that I will be stuck with kids and husband gets the flight on his own. Has anyone done this before, where they have gone on holidays with the family before but travelled separately?????
