Packaging Goods

When you buy goods from Geneva (or a market stall) eg statue or dvd rack, that wont fit in you suitcase, can you ask Geneva to wrap and package it for the trip home? Or is it best to take your own bubble wrap and do it yourself when you get back to the hotel?

I know this is being paranoid but when you check in at the airport they usually ask "did you pack everything yourself". If the store wraps it for you, then you didnt really pack it yourself.

With all the drug issues in Bali of late I dont want to take any chances.

It wouldnt be that hard to bubble wrap a statue yourself would it? Would it be damage proof on the flight home if you wrapped it yourself?

Thanks

Jezzy
