Dynasty or Paradise Plaza?

I'm a first timer about to take a family to Bali for two weeks. We have reservations in Ubud for one week and then we plan to head north and then east, staying here and there until we finish up in the south for a few days. After pouring through many reviews on this site and others places I've got the south part of the trip narrowed down to two hotels, the Bali Dynasty or the Paradise Plaza Suites. I have kids ages 9, 11, 12.

Which hotel would you pick and why? Has anyone stayed at both hotels?
