on board- hate airline food with a passion
When I went to US in 2000 I had a big esky(soft side) as carry on ,
I sat next to a gentleman man a doctor with the US parra athletic team - I watched all the officials see him off so he was genuine- he was rushing back as his mother was seriously injured in a car accident - we left at about 8 and at 9 I asked him if he would like some morning tea . He was worried I would have enough . I took out my flat tray and prepared prawn, lettuce & seafood sauce savouries and the other usuall toppings. I had a quiche slice, a tuna slice , scotch eggs and salami & potato salad rolls, he couldn't believe his eyes and took about 10 photos ( my 12yo son shrunk in his seat ) He said his friends at home wouldn't believe him. After I efficiently packed up and dry washed up I said wait till afternoon tea - I have home made cakes & slices - that was a bali smile from him and he joined me again at 3 for AT. I always carry sandwiches and plenty of my fav goodies. Never had a problem
