Hi Kylie,

I'm not too sure about superior rooms, but make sure you get an upstairs room with a balcony. The balconies are quite small, but any balcony is better than no balcony at all right?

The included breakfasts at the Pelangi are fantastic. A huge buffet in the beach restaurant with everything from nasi goreng and curried fish to pancakes, any style of eggs, juices, coffee etc etc etc.

Yes there are hawkers on the beac outside the Pelangi, BUT wen we were there in January they were all quite friendly. The pool is in an area that looks down onto the beach, so th hawkers can not see you unless you are looking over the boundary wall that seperates the beach from the hotel. Nothing to worry about.

The spa is on the ground floor, but feels as though its underground once yu get down there. You get a 15 minute free massage ticket each when you arrive at reception. We didn't have any other spa treatments at the hotel, but other people we spoke to were raving about how good the services were. The private spa rooms are sheltered by a waterfall and it looks great!

The only problem that we had with the Pelangi was that Taxis are not allowed into the frot of hotel area, so they tend to avoid the street that the pelangi hotel backs onto. You have to walk up the road tword central seminyak a bit to try and get taxis there. Not a huge problem by any means, but finding a taxi to get into kuta proved a bit of a challenge on a couple of occasions.

Hope this all helps, Have a great time!

Joel.
