Really old. And that if you had a "from" time they were there an hour or so earlier.
Have had a few garage sales in my time, they are always an eye opener. Crap seems to go first and the best stuff is left. I remember one time selling some unwanted engagement presents. They were not one but two sets of those "His n Her" towels with the elastic around the top. Sold them to a lady that they have no chance of ever ever fitting around. She was really large and short, hubby was really tall and thin and carried a small white fluffy dog.
Another time i was pissed at those calling early and answered the door to someone that wanted to be "admitted" early. Told him I was in the middle of breast feeding and to call back. He ran never to return.
Do I think we would look mean? No, lets face it, many of us are often happy to pay the first price we are given and it is their custom that we must bargain. Arrogance though is a different story
