I need to pick your brains here cos I am relatively new to the whole travel deal. We are wanting to travel in January next year from Perth to Bali, myself, hubby and 4 sons 15-19. As yet we haven't decided on accommodation (I am the Tunjung Resort thread also). BUT I am feeling nervous about getting there and back.
QUESTION;
How does all this work. Do we tentatively book the airtickets now through a travel agent? I know that we have been told that we should book the cheapest package deal and then give them the vouchers and go somewhere else (Tunjung Resort). Is that how it works? Sorry I am a bit of a doofus, I have no idea...
I guess I am concerned that by the time we decide what we are doing and our budget etc. we are going to miss out on the days we want in January 2006.
I am hoping that one of you seasoned travellers can ease my mind here.
