Snorkelling

In Sanur we always got a boat to go outside the reef. Since the sister broke her arm in several places in January, she won't be able to lift herself in and out of the boat.

If we go to Amed or Candi Dasa for the day, can we just walk into the water to snorkel, or is it another boat trip?
