Thanks for your response. The problem is then, if not the Taman Sari, where? It appears that there are no places around that area that don't have a problem of one sort or another. Matahari is apparently fabulous but we just don't have that sort of dosh for 3 days there (given we're already spending about 20 days in Singapore/Bali). The Taman Selini looks nice but there are very few pictures of that indeed. And the Pondok Sari apparently has pretty thin walls, and we really don't want to embarrass our next door neighbours too much. So what to do?
