usually look better on the website/brochure than what they are in reality --new rooms, glossy pics, new furnishings etc.
Had a look at a suite in the Taman Sari Bali - Pemuteran in July last year. For $US105 I didn't really see it as value for money at the time for me.
Whilst the hotel had lovely grounds and was quite spacious (from the quick look we had) I thought the furnishings in the room were fine but not as good as they could be for the price....a bit drab/old?
And yes can see why it's possibly that star rating or near it.
