Agree with nooosa blue. It is a great base to go on tours. There is a very good information centre to arrnge tours.I spend a week there just to relax ( I am a 63 year old teacher) This year I am staying two weeks.If you want any more information let me know.I stay at Honeymoon Guesthouse and have done the Casa Luna Cooking School. It is excellent.UBUD IS NO KUTA.There are wonderful walks. I would recommend the latest Lonely Planet Guide.
