We stay in Ubud for at least a few days each year. Our usual place to stay is also at the Honeymoon Guesthouse, the accommodation is lovely, breaky is included and the staff are lovely. We find the Guesthouse to be very relaxing. They have a pool for the kids and lots of massage places nearby. Ubud is away from the hussle and bussle of Kuta and great for some time out from the commercial side of things.
