hotel help

I am tyring to get my family to Bali this December.
I have been trying to return for 20 years!
Family: 2 adults,children aged 9 12 &13.
Where to stay? Seminyak or Sanur?
Interconecting rooms or family suite?
Please help! So many decisions! 3star would do!
Hoping there is someone who has been in this situation and survived the information overload!
