I'll soone be returning to Bali after almost 8 years - so it's great to see this forum is still going strong. Also that some people have really spent time on preparing 'Balipedias' for new visitors.
Have been looking through some postings before I decide on which accommodation options
Travel agent recommended Niksoma which sounded great but was booked out it seems.
Choice is Legian Beach hotel (superior bungalow) or Sofitel Seminyak (std room)
Both are similar prices.
Have got a bit worried re some forum posts about 'filthy' beaches around seminyak / Legian
I'm hoping for your views and info on the hotels and also what the beaches are like now.
(Comments on whatchanges I can expect from 8 yrs ago would be great too.)
