It's my first time off to Bali next month and have found this forum extremely useful so far! Just wondering though - are there some things in Bali that you just pay the advertised price and don't expect to negotiate?
I'm thinking of things like restaurants (depending on how up-market they are), water-sports (where the price is advertised), etc. Would it be safe to say that where a price is advertised/printed it is expected that you pay that amount, and if you have to ask the price then it is up for negotiation?
Am travelling at easter with my gf and spending 3 days at the Pelangi in Seminyak, then 7 days at the Aston in Tanjung Benoa. My sister decided to have her wedding in Bali, they are staying at the Westin in Nusa Dua, location of the wedding is being kept a secret with us all travelling from the Westin on a bus there.
Will be sure to post a report to add info for anyone else staying in those hotels.
Cheers,
Grant.
