My husband and I are travelling to Bali mid February and we're 1st timers. We love to snorkel but I am PETRIFIED and PHOBIC about snakes.I've been reading in Lonely Planet etc. that there are sea snakes around Indonesian coastal areas. Should I forget about snorkelling on this trip or? What are the chances of an encounter? Are there places around Bali coastline and nearby islands that are less likely than others to have sea snakes? I really want to snorkel this trip, especially after reading some of the reviews, but not at the risk of a heart attack! Any help with this would be mucho appreciated. Judiper, B.C. Canada
