Thongs are very versatile and, apparently, it must be an acquired talent to walk in them without slipping out, however, I had never thought so before. If you have trouble keeping your feet in them you could purchase some more sophisticated one with straps.
I have never had a problem walking around the streets. Although, having said that I will probably goes a..e over in January now I've opened my big mouth. You must be window shopping while walking instead of paying attention.
Don't think that getting old is a problem - I'm already there. In fact it probably helps because you don't have to hurry anywhere like you youngsters do. The arch supports could be a hassle though, but my feet are pretty flat already and the arches can't fall much further.
However, you will never see me in one of those slinky thongs, that's for sure. How about you?
