Can one of you please explain what this re-entry visa is ? I am very confused & don't understand & I expect I am not the only one.
Anything to do with British citizens who have lived in OZ for years who are NOT Aussies citizens ?
Is is something to do with the fact that they want to get back into Australia after they have been on a holiday in Bali? Does it also apply to British citizens who are married to Aussies ?
I am very interested cause 1 of my best friends was born in the UK but has lived in Australia since she was 4 years old but no one in her family has ever got around to becoming an Aussie citizen - even though myself & other Aussie friends have nagged them to death <LOL>.Basically they do not see the point in doing it.
Personally because of the kids involvement with Scouts & Guides I have attended many naturalization ceremonies & I found them very moving.
BTW - I am ROFLMAO re the comments re "Prisoner".Blimey you are showing your age.The sad fact is I can also remember the program when I was still at school.What was the name of that real wicked " "screw" the one that had the beehive type hair do & hated Bea ( the head prisoner).She was a real mean character.I think it was called "Cellblock 62" or something like that in the UK .
