I'm off to Bali early next week for a short visit and interested in meeting up with other solo travellers (35 to 50 age group) for social outings, meals etc. (I'm staying in the Ubud area).
This is my first trip to Bali but I have travelled a reasonable amount. I plan to see as much of the island as possible because I have decided that if I like it, I will move there in a few months and put my feet up "in paradise" for a year or so - it's the only way to meet the locals and learn about the culture etc.
I have a car and driver and plan to see as much of the island as possible and get a feel for life there in general, not just the tourist spots.
Naturally, I'm also happy to meet others living there, not just travellers.
