... being able to go for a year and put my feet up !
Did you just sell your Microsoft shares which you bought at $1 ?
I understand what you say about the "not just the tourist spots"
I know people that have been to Bali and when I ask - did you go here,
did you go there ? - they say 'no', just Kuta (or Nusa Dua) and the
hotel. BORING !!!
I have recently set up a tour company in Bali (just 1 mini bus to start with)
and although we are offering a range of set tours to parts of Bali
that a lot of people go to, we are also going to work on a tour into
areas where not to many people go - the Tabanan region is one such
area that has some great places to visit and give some further
understanding of the Balinese, it culture and its history.
Puja has ben working as a registered tour guide in Bali for the past
12 years, so is very well qualified to give people the real Bali experience.
There are "lots" of drivers in Bali - yet not a lot that are actually
tested & registered 'guides'.
Sorry, got off the track -
Back to you ..... I can tell you right now that you WILL stay after
your visit, I have no doubt.
Enjoy it.
p.s. As you will spend some time in Ubud - you must have a few nights
at Nuri's - ask and you will find. Good food & good people.
