I was just married in Bali 3 weeks ago and now have started the tedious task of changing my name on everything. So far so good. The one I have struck a little trouble with is my Passport. They require a marriage certificate but will not accept one from a celebrant. We were not married by a celebrant of course but 3 certificates we were given are not the same as Aussie ones and I am having trouble finding out if any of them are acceptable? Here are the 3.....1/ Balinese certificate. 2/ Protestant Certificate. 3/ Civil Registry Australian Citizen Excerpt Marriage Certificate. I'd appreciate hearing of any one elses experiences as I am just getting the run around!
