I am so amazed reading your article. I have just come back from Bali and ate at the Crown restaurant a number of times. I couldn't fault the staff, in fact I felt the main guy and girl who were always in the restaurant were wonderful and so helpful.
I hope the owner who I met reads this as she is going to be disappointed to read what you have written on here. Pity it takes one bad experience against all the positive ones for you to be so critical about this restaurant.. I think you have the negative attitude! Why couldn't you give the poor taxi driver 10 000 rupiah - not even $2. How mean are you!
Very disappointed with your attitude and it is so tough in Bali now and yet you are trying to damage the income of some lovely Balinese people who might be out of work due to the negative things you said about his restaurant over a measly $1.
I just want to go on record to say congratulations to the Crown for great food and wonderful service. I will always eat there when I go to Bali on my annual visit. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.
