We are leaving for Bali in less than a week, and are staying at the Padma. Our friends have just arrived in Bali - turned up at the Padma and were told, sorry we're overbooked. They were taken to the Sutra or something like this, which they say is horrible and much worse than the Padma.
We are very worried that this will happen to us! We're very upset as the padma is not exactly a cheap hotel and this holiday has taken us a lot of saving.......
I understand that this is quite common in Bali - but frankly its NOT good enough. If we pay for a hotel that we specifically want, why should we be "downgraded" to somewhere that doesnt suit our purposes as well?
What can we do to ensure this DOES NOT HAPPEN to us....... ?? or can out travel agent do anything? Any thoughts anyone?
