Cash is easier to change, better rate than TC's & generally less hassle. Take your cash card in case you run out & need to use ATM (easy), & use Credit card for any big purchases.Leave cash (with passports, valuables etc) in hotel safe deposit box & cash at money changers every 2 to 3 days I allowed $200 NZ per day for 2 adults & 2 teenagers & ended up with money left over. My daughters had some of there own dough for shopping but we lived it up & my wife loves shopping
