Hi, arriving Aug 7th & my friend & I are considering taking only a backpack each which we can have as hand luggage & buy clothing etc there. Also wondering about Garuda as have heard some horror stories? Do they smoke on flight?
Would appreciate opinions from the experts on our luggage idea & also a list of convenient stores in the Santika Beach Hotel area where we can buy basic clothing (or label cloting?) as we'll have next to nothing to wear!
And yes I have been running searches on everything I can think of and copying all info into a word doc I'm preparing. I have lists of restaurants, dvd stores, spas, hair braiding, activites etc ready.
