I've not done it but there is a man in Ubud who runs Bird Walks. Yes in Bali you can walk like the locals do all the time!! There is a maze of pathways everywhere so you are not necessarily tied to busy road sides, you may get the odd motor bike spinning on the quiet lanes though. But you won't want heavy hot boots, light strong shoes or walkers are OK. John
