Are you there in Ubud a lot? If so perhaps you can answer this? When did he sell, was it around the time that it was shut last year, (I'm not even sure that it was open in 1997 either (?)) and why did nobody mention that he no longer owned it when we went this year? Are they a little anxious that maybe nobody will go anymore now that he is no longer involved? I hope not because the young woman who took us on a bird walk seemed very knowledgeable and claimed to have been taught by Victor himself. By the way she also knew a lot about butterflies, and spiders and quite a lot about plants. If they are still going (must be surely: that was Feb and now we are only April) then they are well worth a visit.
