Just a few hints for your shopping list. Love 2 kiss only sells Indonesian tourist type fabric suitable for casual shirts, dresses etc. You will buy material suitable for suits etc at Sulawesi Street Denpasar - there are rows and rows of material shops. I have dealt with LIBAS Textiles plus others - shop around and ask prices - they have large ranges of samples to browse through although you will not want to spend much time in the shops as they are small and narrow with no air conditioning.

I will not pay more than 20,000 Rupiah per metre for suiting material. The tailor I always use is Cahaya Jl Lebak Bena - Legian Kelod (in Kuta) Telephone 0361 725683.

He has a sales assistant working for him - Kanis who speaks good english. They will also supply you with material suitable for suits or shirts etc. Make sure he gets your order right if you are ordering large quantities because sometimes the communication gets lost in the translation.

Have your made to measure done on your first day. Allow at least three days for completion and ALWAYS HAVE A FITTING BEFORE YOU PICK UP AND PAY FINAL AMOUNT. You must negiotiate a price - do not accept his first price - mention my name - Desley - and tell him you are a friend of mine.

the hawkers ONLY SELL fakes.

The real designer clothing is available through their own outlets such as Vercace, Amarni etc and they have stores in Kuta square and Plaza at Nusa Dua. Have a good trip.
