Just back. Our experience was that it may be better to use a driver than drive yourself. Bad roads and crazy road etiquette. Hard to enjoy the scenery when you are the driver. Can recommend Wayan Merta, he has a web page. No problem with riots in March. The Balaniese are very gentle people. March was hot and humid day and nite. enjoy.
