Thanks for the tip Mark - Lonely Planet says that Lombok is a high risk malaria area, which is annoying as we really want to go to the Gili Islands, in my experience of travelling you get to know where the active malaria areas are by word of mouth. ( Not to mention gaping holes and mistruths in LP!)
