As far as MY knowledge goes, dengue fever is something that occurs AFTER the rainy-season.
Being a new reader on the forum I found out that there is a lot of talk about "Bali-Belly". I was only fammiliar with Delhi-Belly. Never heard, had, saw or smelled anything else but the usual travelshit. Beers (lots of them) will most certainly be the main cause of what people mistakenly refer to as Bali-Belly.
As your girlfriend is pregnant she shouldn't drink so NO PROBLEM.

Just observe a normal hygienic standard and all will most probably be OK.

My girlfriend was 4 month pregnant, easy to get an upset stomach, but no problem at all. Due to her sickness (nausea) the smell of the food was enough to stop her from having meals.

BTW the word for pregnant is HAMIL.
