I am having trouble coming to grips with some of the wildly divergent "just back" messages that I read on this list. I leave for Bali in 3 days, and I wonder what everyone else's opinion is as to how people can have such different experiences in the same place? How can some say it is very cheap and so enjoyable, while others say it is expensive and awful? I am still very much looking forward to my trip, but I find these conflicting reports curious.
